To hold prepared foods at safe serving temperatures over short periods of time, the Hatco GRS-42-C Glo-Ray® heated shelf is warmed with a blanket-type foil element for even heat distribution across the stainless steel surface. Operators can precisely modify the surface temperature between 80 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit on its adjustable thermostat, while fiberglass insulation retains heat near the surface to prevent temperature fluctuations that could impact food quality. For simple operation, this unit is equipped with an on/off switch that glows during use.

Compatible with back-of-house workstations, buffet lines, and cafeterias, the Hatco GRS-42-C countertop warming shelf measures 42 inches wide by 9³/₄ inches deep by 5³/₈ inches high. Its stainless steel surface and extruded aluminum base establish a sleek, minimalist look for front- and back-of-house applications; both metals resist rust, can be wiped clean, and are durable enough to withstand high-volume use. To avoid sliding as to-go orders and food pans are retrieved or loaded, the shelf is fitted with 4-inch nonslip rubber feet.
