Portable and freestanding, the Hatco GRS-48-D Glo-Ray® heated shelf measures 48 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 5³/₈ inches high for front- and back-of-house stations requiring an additional heated surface. Its stainless steel holding surface and extruded aluminum base resist corrosion and wear through daily use and can be wiped clean. For stability as to-go orders or food pans are loaded and unloaded, this unit is mounted on 4-inch nonslip rubber feet.

To simplify operation, this Hatco GRS-48-D countertop heated shelf warmer includes a power rocker switch that indicates it's in use by illuminating. Staff can modify surface temperatures to a precise level between 80 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit with the adjustable thermostatic control. A blanket-type foil element ensure uniform heat distribution, while fiberglass insulation retains this heat near the surface to minimize energy loss.
