The Hatco GRS-48-J countertop warming shelf measures 48 inches wide by 21¹/₂ inches deep by 5³/₈ inches high, sporting a freestanding, portable design that works with buffet lines, workstations, pass-thru areas, and self-service stations. To preserve its original look over time, its stainless steel surface and extruded aluminum base resist corrosion and can be wiped clean between uses. Bottom-mounted nonslip rubber feet ensure stability on countertops as products are loaded or retrieved, and the 4-inch-tall design raises the base so employees can clean beneath it.

Simple to operate, the Hatco GRS-48-J heated shelf features a built-in on/off switch that glows during use, and staff can set this thermostat to a precise temperature between 80 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Its blanket-type foil heating element disperses heat evenly across the stainless steel surface, which is great for short-term holding. To minimize energy loss, fiberglass insulation retains heat near the surface.
