The temperature on the Hatco GRS-54-D Glo-Ray® heated shelf's thermostat can be adjusted from 80 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, while its blanket-type element generates enough heat to warm products at safe serving temperatures for short periods. This element distributes even heat across the holding surface, ensuring packaged meals and wrapped biscuits and pastries are warm for pickup. To conserve energy and reduce temperature fluctuations, fiberglass insulation maintains heat close to the surface.

Stylish yet practical, the Hatco GRS-54-D warming shelf features a corrosion-resistant stainless steel surface and an extruded aluminum base mounted on 4-inch nonslip rubber feet. These feet secure the unit in place during loading and retrieval, while their elevated design lets employees clean beneath the shelf. Despite its sturdy construction, this 54-inch-wide by 12-inch-deep by 5³/₈-inch-high unit is simple to move and has a freestanding design for existing buffet lines, self-service stations, and pass-thru areas.
