The Hatco GRSBF-72-S Glo-Ray built-in heated shelf with a flush top comes with a ³/₄-inch flanged edge that allows the shelf to be placed into a countertop opening. Mounting brackets are included to ensure the shelf is installed properly. This shelf is recommended by Hatco to be placed in a metallic counter but can be used in other materials as long as they can withstand temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. A control box is channeled with power lines to the shelf with a 36-inch flexible conduit. The hard-coated aluminum surface helps extend the holding time of food. The blanket-type heating element evenly distributes heat across the shelf's surface while fiberglass insulation keeps heat at the holding surface. The Hatco GRSBF-72-S Glo-Ray built-in heated shelf has a built-in adjustable thermostat that controls the temperature of the surface.
