To hold hors d'oeuvres, plated meals, and to-go orders at safe serving temperatures for short periods, the Hatco HBGB-3618 heated base glass built-in shelf's temperature can be modified from 100 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit with the thermostatic control. Its food-safe ceramic glass surface lets operators place items directly on its surface to maximize heat transfer. When the unit is in use, its on/off rocker switch illuminates so employees can discern its status at a glance. For simple adjustment, the thermostat and rocker switch are built onto the control box, which includes a 3-foot conduit and a 6-foot cord and plug.

For a seamless look on buffet lines and pass-through areas, the Hatco HBGB-3618 heated base shelf can be installed into a countertop cutout as large as 36⁷/₈ inches wide by 18⁷/₈ inches high. This 37-inch-wide by 19⁵/₈-inch-deep by 2¹/₅-inch-high warmer sports a black surface that fits most established decorative themes, and operators can choose a stainless steel, Designer white, or Designer black trim mounting ring when ordering this unit.
