Designed for closed warming, the Metro HS2448-EKIT Super Erecta? hot enclosed heated shelf unit features a warming shelf surrounded by two sliding front doors, two hinged rear doors, and two powder-coated side panels. While the doors' clear polycarbonate construction provides a view of displayed contents, their Microban?-treated handles inhibit germ spread between cleanings. This pass-thru configuration lets operators insert contents through the back without interrupting shopping customers. As the largest enclosed kit in the Super Erecta series, this unit measures 48⁷/₁₀ inches wide by 27⁷/₁₀ inches deep by 17²/₅ inches high?great for use near point-of-sale areas.

The Metro HS2448-EKIT shelf kit's heated shelf can be adjusted to temperatures as hot as 200 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate various warming requirements. With a thermostatic control built onto the operator side, accidental or unauthorized adjustment is prevented. Once temperatures are set, the shelf's foil elements and aluminum diffuser generate uniform heat across the shelf's stainless steel surface, and condiments, napkins, and cutlery can be displayed on the non-heated top shelf to save counterspace.
