The unit features three levels each with a perforated rear wall to enable air to circulate around items. The front and side feature a curved plexiglass window that works with the air screen to maintain cool internal conditions. To enable products to standout, the unit is made with white paneling.

The self-contained refrigeration system maintains the Howard-McCray SC-OS35E-3C horizontal cool merchandiser's internal temperature. To set the desired operating temperature from 36 to 40 degrees, users must access the case's electronic controller. The defrost system functions automatically to prevent ice development on vital components. Between the unit's paneling is CFC-less foam insulation is designed to lock in cool conditions.
