The DoughXpress D-TXM-2-18 dough press is great for creating tortillas and pizza crusts with even thicknesses and consistent, round shapes. It's operated manually€”users place a dough ball in the center of the bottom plate and use the pull-down handle to squeeze it between the two aluminum platens. The final product can be any thickness and have a maximum diameter of 18 inches.
Both platens of the DoughXpress D-TXM-2-18 dough press are heated. Because they can be set to any level between off and 450 degrees Fahrenheit, the platens enable users to shape various doughs from chilled, low-yeast doughs to warm, high-yeast products. For simple operation, this unit has a digital temperature display and an illuminated on/off button.
