Groen AH/1E-100 100 gal. Steam Kettle - Stationary, 2/3 Jacket, Liquid Propane

The Groen AH/1E-100 steam-jacketed kettle has a 100-gallon capacity and a steam jacket around two thirds of its body that fills with steam to heat the unit. Constructed of durable stainless steel, the interior can be wiped clean quickly, and the hinged dome cover has a counterbalanced actuator to hold it in an open or closed position. For installation, it has three adjustable legs to keep it level, along with a faucet mounting bracket. The gas-heated steam source is self-contained, and the 2-inch draw-off valve drains liquid as a perforated strainer prevents debris from getting trapped in the valve.

The Groen AH/1E-100 gas kettle has a regulating thermostat that shuts the unit's heat on and off to maintain the set temperature. A pressure safety valve and pressure limit control help prevent pressure within the kettle from reaching unsafe levels. To monitor the pressure and water levels within the jacket, users can view the pressure gauge and water sight gauge, and a low-water cut-off feature ensures water levels do not get too low. For accessibility, the controls are contained within a stainless steel enclosure mounted on the front.
