Groen EE-60 60 gal Steam Kettle - Stationary, 2/3 Jacket, 208v/3ph
The Groen EE-60 stationary steam kettle is designed for high-volume batch cooking and can prepare the same amount of food as a stock pot range with a more forgiving heating method. Between the interior and exterior, a hollow area€”the jacket€”is filled with water, and the element heats the water into steam to cook food. This unit has a 316 stainless steel liner, which is more corrosion resistant than 304 stainless steel and enables it to be ideal for preparing tomato-based, high-acid food.
Controls on this Groen EE-60 steam-jacketed kettle are mounted in a stainless steel enclosure that prevents damage from splashing. This unit is thermostatically controlled with a temperature range between 150 and 270 degrees Fahrenheit. When that set temperature is reached, the heating element tuns off, before turning back on when the temperature drops below the set level. When the heating elements are operating, the pilot light illuminates. A gauge shows the vacuum pressure and a sight gauge monitors jacket water level.
