Outfitted with a single-deck high shelf, the Vulcan EV48SS-8FP240 electric range provides convenient overhead space for cookware or small tools in high-volume kitchens. Below, a 48-inch-wide cooktop includes (8) 9 1/2-inch round French hot plates, each independently controlled with infinite heat switches. The unit's full-width crumb tray simplifies maintenance by collecting food debris during service. Its frame is fully MIG welded from aluminized steel for structural support, while stainless steel throughout the front, sides, riser, shelf, and legs enhances corrosion resistance.
The Vulcan EV48SS-8FP240 range also includes two standard ovens, each equipped with a top browning control and a thermostat that can be set between 200 and 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Both ovens measure 20 inches wide by 26 1/2 inches deep by 14 inches high and accommodate 18-inch by 26-inch sheet pans loaded front to back. Inside each cavity is one rack with three adjustable positions. For installation on uneven floors, the range rests on 6-inch stainless steel legs that can be adjusted to improve balance and stability.
