The Krowne 21-101L wall faucet base can be used to replace a broken or defective component on an existing unit. It can be interchanged with similar parts from most other brands, and it's designed to be mounted to the wall or backsplash behind the sink bowl. By eliminating the risk of backflow, check valves in the base help prevent cross contamination.
