Vulcan 948RX-30 48" Gas Griddle w/ Thermostatic Controls - 1" Steel Plate, Natural Gas

With a cook surface that stands just 11 inches high, the Vulcan 948RX-30 gas griddle remains comfortably accessible on most countertops and equipment stands. To ensure stability the griddle rests on four adjustable legs made of rust-resistant stainless steel. The gas inlet shuts off manually, while the pilot safety valve stops the flow of gas if the pilot light goes out to prevent leaks. Protecting counters and tabletops from scorching, heat shields are built into the unit?s bottom.

Operating with four separately controlled burners, the Vulcan 948RX-30 gas griddle can be used to create multiple cook zones so users can prepare a variety of different products. Giving it a smooth surface that reduces sticking and simplifies cleaning, the steel griddle plate is polished. During use, hot grease is channeled through the unit?s 3¹?₂-inch-wide gutter to be stored in the 6-quart grease drawer. To prevent sagging or warping from heavy use, the stainless and aluminized chassis frame is fully welded for strength.
