To create four cooking zones, the Vulcan MSA48-30 gas griddle has a mechanical snap-action thermostat embedded every 12 inches. Each cooking zone has individual controls, so different foods can be cooked simultaneously. To prevent accidental changes if an employee bumps into them, the knobs are protected with heavy-duty guards. Taking up minimal space in a crowded kitchen, this low-profile unit measures 48 inches wide by 37¹/₂ inches deep by 15¹/₄ inches high.

The Vulcan MSA48-30 commercial griddle is safe to operate with millivolt pilot safety valves that shut off the unit if a pilot extinguishes?this prevents overheating and protects the heating elements from damage. To capture food particles, this unit has a front-mounted grease trough that holds 6 quarts. It has a 4-inch backsplash with tapered side splashes that contain messes to keep the wall free of splatter.
