The Accutemp E62083D150 Evolution™ convection steamer is a countertop unit with a six-pan capacity. Its patent-pending Steam Vector Technology utilizes no moving parts, provides fast cook times, and is equipped with variable temperature hold and cook modes. This unit's digital controls are simple to use and come with a digital temperature display and an independent, electronic timer featuring a programmable preset. The water reservoir has a 3-gallon capacity, and there is no drain or water line, nor a requirement for water treatment and filtration or scheduled maintenance and de-liming. Its drain valve is front-mounted for accessibility. Convection steamers are more forgiving and flexible than pressurized steamers, making it effortless for users to avoid overcooking.

This Accutemp E62083D150 connectionless convection steamer's door is heavy duty and field reversible, and operators can open it at any time during the cook cycle. The cast aluminum heating element avoids exposure to water. Reinforced, 14-gauge, 304 stainless steel constructs the steamer cavity, and the control panel is simple to clean. The steamer is equipped with automatic altitude compensation and its one-piece wire pan racks are safe to clean in a dishwasher, along with the SVT steam collector and distributor panels. Operating instruction on the door is available in both English and Spanish, and the access panel is updated with easier service than prior models. There are indicator lights for low water, high water, and overtemp.
