The Hatco GRHDH-2PD Glo-Ray® heated display case's top-mounted infrared heaters and heated shelf bases create a sufficient environment for long-term holding. While the upper pre-focused heaters direct heat to the shelves' outer edges€”where most heat escapes€”the bases can be adjusted from 100 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit via independent thermostats. This even heat circulation eliminates cold spots that could impact food quality, and to preserve textures of items stored on the bottom shelf, this unit includes a humidity chamber with a 3-quart water reservoir. While the upper shelf measures 28 inches wide by 16⁹/₅₀ inches deep, the lower shelf measures 28 inches wide by 21¹/₂ inches deep and accommodates two full-size food pans.

The Hatco GRHDH-2PD heated display case's rear and front glass doors create a pass-thru system that lets employees insert foods into the unit's back without interrupting customers. For a clear view of displayed contents, this cabinet is encased with transparent tempered glass. Incandescent bulbs highlight the interior, and their shatterproof design protects merchandised foods from bulb breakage. For countertop use, this aluminum and stainless steel unit measures 32¹/₂ inches wide by 26 inches deep by 30³/₂₅ inches high, and its 4-inch legs can be adjusted to sit levelly on uneven surfaces.
