Employees can quickly power the unit off and on with a lighted rocker switch, and to enhance the product display, it's built with shatter-resistant incandescent lighting. For optimal holding, this unit's heated base is thermostatically controlled, featuring prefocused infrared top heat.

To secure the unit on a countertop, the Hatco GRHW-1SGD buffet warmer is fitted with 1-inch rubber legs and measures 22⁷/₈ inches wide by 20¹⁷/₂₀ inches deep by 23¹/₂ inches high. To provide an unobstructed view of food while shielding it from airborne germs, it's furnished with buffet-style sneeze guards.
