Operators can implement this Hatco GRS-36-K Glo-Ray® freestanding heated shelf into buffet tables or workstations needing an additional heated surface. Its 36-inch-wide by 23¹/₂-inch-deep by 5³/₈-inch-high structure is portable to ease maintenance and cleaning. To preserve its sleek, minimalist look, it features a resilient stainless steel surface and extruded aluminum base that both resist corrosion and can be wiped clean between uses. Nonslip rubber feet built onto the base secure the shelf in place, preventing sliding on countertops as food pans are loaded or retrieved.

Intended for holding to-go orders, wrapped items, and food pans for short periods, the Hatco GRS-36-K warming shelf's blanket-type foil element generates heat that evenly warms the surface. Fiberglass insulation retains heat near the surface to minimize energy and temperature loss, and operators can adjust the thermostatic control as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate specific holding requirements. Because its power switch glows, users can quickly determine the unit is on.
