With its versatile, freestanding design, the Hatco GRS-42-J Glo-Ray® heated shelf can be incorporated into cafeteria or buffet lines, self-service areas, and pass-thru stations needing an extra heated surface. Its 42-inch-wide by 21¹/₂-inch-deep surface can hold to-go orders, packaged meals, and food pans; it's made of simple-to-clean rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Its extruded aluminum base is mounted on 4-inch stabilizing rubber feet that secure this unit in place to prevent accidental adjustment during loading or removal.

To flatten the learning curve for employees, the Hatco GRS-42-J countertop warming shelf features a simple power rocker switch that illuminates when the shelf is in use. Users can precisely adjust surface temperatures with the thermostatic control, which has an 80-to-200-degree-Fahrenheit temperature range. Great for short-term holding applications, its blanket-type foil element disperses warmth uniformly, while fiberglass insulation keeps that heat near the surface.
