Designed without insulation, the Metro C517-HFC-L C5? 1 Series ³/₄-height, mobile heated cabinet makes a good choice for short-term applications where the food won't be transported to areas far from the kitchen. Built with an economical aluminum shell and chassis, this cabinet is lightweight and resistant to corrosion. Inside, it offers extruded aluminum lip-load slides that provide support for as many as 27 full-size sheet pans full of food. The slides are fixed in place and spaced 1¹/₂ inches apart.

The Metro C517-HFC-L non-insulated mobile heated cabinet has a clear door made of high heat-tolerant polycarbonate. Reversible in the field, the door opens as wide as 180 degrees to let users slide pans in and out of the cavity without struggling. Its recessed controls are analog, but the unit's display is digital, enhancing visibility. Because the control module is removable, users can install future upgrades at a minimal cost.
