The Metro C533-CLFS-L-GY mobile heated holding and proofing cabinet is an undercounter unit measuring 27⁵/₈ inches wide by 31¹/₂ inches deep by 32 inches high. Warm air is trapped inside the cabinet using Gray Insulation Armour?, and the thermostat enables temperature adjustments as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit. To help users access the control panel, it can be removed from the area below the doors. The exterior is made of durable and corrosion-resistant aluminum for heavy-duty use.

To prevent moisture from dripping from the cabinet when the door is opened, the Metro C533-CLFS-L-GY undercounter mobile heated holding and proofing cabinet is equipped with a polymer drip trough. Positioned on 1¹/₂-inch centers, its lip-load slides accommodate (10) 18-inch by 26-inch food pans. The cabinet is mobilized with 3-inch casters, and to secure it in place while employees load it, two of the casters are fitted with brakes.
