Thermostatically controlled, forced convection circulates warm air throughout the cabinet evenly to eliminate cold spots, and users can adjust controls with the bottom-mount control module, which includes a digital thermostat, recessed control dials, a master on/off switch, and a power light indicator. It's made with Insulation Armour? technology that retains internal temperatures while keeping the exterior cool.

The Metro C533-MFC-L-GY heated holding and proofing cabinet is lined with lip-load slides on 1¹/₂-inch centers; they hold as many as (10) 18-inch by 26-inch pans. Its interior is made of corrosion-resistant aluminum, while the unit's exterior has a dent-, stain-, and impact-resistant polymer construction. It measures 27⁵/₈ inches wide by 31¹/₂ inches deep by 32 inches high for undercounter installation, and it's furnished with 3-inch casters for maneuverability and stabilization.
