It reaches a maximum temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure food stays warm enough to serve, and to verify accurate temperatures, this unit has a digital thermometer. It's turned on and off with the flip of a switch and an indicator light shows users when the unit is on.

The Metro C539-HFS-L full-height mobile heated cabinet accommodates (35) 18-inch by 26-inch food pans on lip load slides. Its cabinet and door are insulated, and Red Insulation Armour? keeps the exterior cool to the touch to prevent burns. For maintenance purposes, the bottom-mounted control panel is removable, and the unit is made of aluminum to provide durability.
