To streamline the frying process, product can be placed in the Frymaster 1PRG50T PowerRunner™ gas fryer's two baskets, which are secured in place with a basket support rack. Its Thermo-tube heat transfer system is equipped with four tubes that evenly heat the frypot without using as much heat as other systems, preventing oil from breaking down. The baffles are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, while the burners have a long-lasting design to reduce maintenance requirements. Operators can manage oil temperature via the 1-degree-Fahrenheit compensating temperature probe to minimize the risk of heat damage.

The Frymaster 1PRG50T gas fryer's 50-pound oil capacity accommodates large quantities of breaded foods, such as funnel cakes, chicken, and french fries. A wide cold zone is built into the bottom to catch sediment that would otherwise impact oil quality, and the 1¹/₄-inch valve removes buildup. The door, sides, legs, and frypot are made of rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel to withstand high-volume use in commercial kitchens. Overall, this unit measures 15¹/₂ inches wide by 30³/₄ inches deep by 46¹/₈ inches high and has 6-inch legs that can be raised or lowered by 1 inch to ensure stability on uneven flooring.
