The Vulcan 1VK45D gas fryers measures 151/2 inches wide by 301/8 inches deep by 471/8 inches high. Great for intense kitchens, it's made of stainless steel for increased durability and resistance to rust and corrosion. It has a 14-inch-wide by 14-inch-deep fry tank that can hold as much as 50 pounds of oil?ideal for frying fish, okra, and onion rings among other items. With its integrated 11/4-inch full-port drain valve, it eases oil removal and simplifies cleaning. Because this unit sits on four 6-inch casters, two swivel with locking mechanisms and two non-locking, it can be quickly moved out of the way to clean the floor beneath it or when maintenance is required.
The 1VK45D gas fryer integrates two 61/2-inch-wide by 131/4-inch-deep by 6-inch-high fry baskets that securely contain the contents as they're submerged in or removed from oil. This fryer sports a solid-state digital control with three melting modes in addition to an auto-boil out mode that streamlines operation for users. Its temperature can be set to a level between 200 and 390 degrees Fahrenheit, and to conserve energy, its FivePass? heat transfer system evenly distributes heat. Additionally, its SoftStart? ignition system extends the life of each batch of oil, reducing upkeep and energy costs. Once the set temperature is reached, the idle mode maintains the heat level by using just 4,251 BTUs per hour.
