Its wire configuration promotes airflow around stored product, minimizing buildup of dust or moisture in humid or dry areas. Because this unit boasts a MetroSeal 3™ epoxy coating, it can be installed in moist environments such as walk-in freezers or dishrooms.
To support heavy ingredients and canned goods, the Metro 5A347K3 shelf kit has a total capacity of 2,000 pounds. It comes with four posts for installation and its shelves can be adjusted in 1-inch increments to accommodate various items. To inhibit bacterial and mold formation and maintain product quality, this unit is treated with Microban™ antimicrobial protection.
