Electronic controls on the Beverage Air SM58HC-S milk cooler lets users adjust the temperature from 36 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and an external thermometer enables monitoring. This unit operates with a cold-wall evaporator, and the evaporator's coil is epoxy coated to resist corrosion. To reduce the buildup of ice in the cabinet, it has an automatic defrost feature, and a centrally located drain will empty water left over from ice melting. Because this cooler operates with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, it's a more environmentally friendly unit than other options.

The Beverage Air SM58HC-S stainless steel milk cooler is made of durable and corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Its locking lids self-close and stay shut with a compression gasket, retaining cold air in the cabinet so the temperature doesn't drop. Mounted on 4-inch casters, this cooler can be relocated with minimal strain, and two of the casters have locks to keep it from rolling out of place. During transport, safety bumpers on the unit's lid protect it from damage if it collides into anything.
