For practicality and durability through use in dry storage areas, the Metro 5N477BR Super Erecta? wire starter shelf kit is made of carbon steel and sports a Super Erecta Brite? finish. This 71⁷?₈-inch-wide by 21¹?₈-inch-deep by 74-inch-tall unit is comprised of five tiers of open-wire shelves that enhance airflow, minimize dust buildup, and provide full visibility of stored contents. Their front-to-back ribs ease loading and retrieving products, and the unit's open configuration provides shelf access from any side. Although each shelf can support 600 pounds, the unit shouldn't be loaded with more than 2,000 pounds.

Although the Metro 5N477BR starter shelving unit ships unassembled, it can be built by snapping the tapered split sleeves to the SiteSelect? posts, and then sliding the tapered openings of the shelves' corners over the split sleeves. The posts are built with circular grooves in 1-inch increments and double grooves every 8 inches so users can raise or lower the shelves to accommodate different products. For stability on bumpy or irregular flooring, the included SiteSelect? posts are built with adjustable feet.
