The Metro 5Q347G3 shelf kit measures 41¹³/₁₆ inches wide by 18³/₈ inches deep by 74 inches high and is suitable for wet, high-humidity areas such as coolers, freezers, and dishrooms. It's built with Microban? antimicrobial to slow the growth of fungus, mildew, mold, or bacteria on its surface. It has five levels that each feature an open-grid shelf mat for air circulation and light penetration. These mats are made of injection-molded polypropylene, which is removable and dishwasher safe. Its frame is made of durable steel and is coated in epoxy for rust and corrosion resistance.

The Metro 5Q347G3 unit has corner releases for adjusting shelves in 1-inch increments without tools. To level the unit on irregular flooring, its feet are adjustable. To accommodate bulk storage, each shelf can withstand as much as 800 pounds, and as a unit, it can hold a maximum of 2,000 pounds when weight is evenly distributed.
