For tool-free assembly, the Metro 5Q377G3 MetroMax? Q polymer shelving starter unit comes with one-piece wedges with raised beads that snap into the four included 74-inch-tall posts' grooves. The wedges' windows align with the posts' numbers to indicate where shelves can be placed. When fully assembled, this unit measures 71¹³?₁₆ inches wide by 18³?₈ inches deep by 74 inches tall and provides five tiers of shelving. The epoxy-coated steel wire shelves include lift-off open-grid polymer shelf mats to promote air circulation and light penetration, and as they become dirty, these mats can be washed in a dishmachine or commercial washing machine. To maximize vertical storage space and accommodate changing inventory, the shelves can be raised or lowered in 1-inch increments along the posts using the patented corner release mechanism.

Capable of surviving use in wet, humid, and damp areas, the Metro 5Q377G3 commercial shelving unit is built with rust- and corrosion-resistant shelves and rust-proof polymer posts that can withstand temperatures from -20 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit.
