The Metro 5Q467G3 MetroMax? Q starter shelving kit is a five-tier unit measuring 59¹³?₁₆ inches wide by 21³?₈ inches deep by 74 inches tall. Because its polymer posts resist rust and its epoxy-coated steel shelves resist rust and corrosion, it can be installed in steamy dishrooms, dry pantries, humid walk-in coolers, and other common storage spaces between -20 and 125 degrees Fahrenheit. To deter odor formation and product degradation, the posts and removable polypropylene shelf mats are treated with Microban? antimicrobial product protection, which slows fungal, bacterial, and microbial growth between cleanings. Great for bagged ingredients and canned goods, each shelf can support 600 pounds, while the unit as a whole can hold 2,000 pounds when the weight is evenly distributed.

The Metro 5Q467G3 commercial shelving unit can be assembled in minutes without tools. Included one-piece reinforced nylon wedges can be attached to the 74-inch-tall posts, which secure the shelves in place atop the four connected wedges. Staff can raise or lower the shelves by relocating the wedge connectors with the tool-free corner-release mechanism, and to ensure stability during product loading or retrieval, the posts' reinforced nylon feet can be adjusted to compensate for irregular surfaces. The included polypropylene shelf mats are vented to enhance light penetration and promote airflow, and to ensure proper sanitation, they can be washed in a dishmachine, washing machine, or sink.
