The Metro 5X417G4 MetroMax? starter shelving kit includes four posts, five shelves, open-grid shelf mats, and 20 wedge connectors to facilitate tool-free assembly. The one-piece wedges are built with raised beads that snap into the posts' grooves, and the wedges' windows align with the posts' numbers to ensure shelves are positioned levelly. When placed atop the wedges, the shelves provide a 360-degree capture of the wedges and posts for stability during loading. To accommodate products of varying sizes, the shelves can be adjusted in 1-inch increments to maximize vertical storage space. Both the shelves and posts are made of rust- and corrosion-resistant polymer, which withstands moisture, chemicals, and harsh environments for placement in humid dishrooms, cool walk-ins, and damp kitchens. Once fully assembled, this unit measures 23¹⁵?₁₆ inches wide by 21¹?₂ inches deep by 74³?₁₆ inches tall.
