The Metro 5X557GX3 MetroMax i? louvered shelf kit is coated in Microban? antimicrobial to slow the growth of bacteria on the unit. All five shelves have stainless steel corners to protect them and are lined with polymer mats to contain any spills that may occur from stored product. This unit accommodates 2,000 pounds, though a single shelf can't hold more than 1,000 pounds. With an open-grid design, air flows evenly around the shelves, while four wedge connectors per shelf streamline installation.
