A knocked down model, this Metro MF-216074G-S-4 polymer louvered shelf ships in pieces that require assembly in the field. The kit includes four posts, four shelves, and wedge connectors, which can all be assembled in minutes without the use of tools. Once assembled, each individual shelf has a 600-pound capacity, and the entire unit can hold 2,000 pounds, meaning every shelf shouldn't be loaded to full capacity at once.

The blue plastic construction is rust resistant and equipped with the antimicrobial Microban protection?technology that helps prevent growth and spread of bacteria. The louvered shelf design allows air to circulate around the whole shelf, enabling the shelf to be used in freezer and refrigerator settings effectively.
