The Metro PR-216063K3-S-4 shelf kit features four polymer shelf mats designed to rest on its epoxy-coated wire shelf frames, each of which can then be connected to the unit's four epoxy-coated metal posts via tapered split sleeves. The posts are marked with visual guides every 8 inches so the shelves can accommodate products of varying sizes. Each shelf can hold 600 pounds individually, though the entire unit can support 2,000 pounds without risking structural stability.

Once setup, the Metro PR-216063K3-S-4 shelf kit measures 59³/₄ inches wide by 21¹/₄ inches deep by 61¹³/₁₆ inches high with leveling legs that rest stably on both even and uneven floors. Its epoxy coating gives the unit greater protection against rust and corrosion; its Microban? antimicrobial coat adds resistance to bacterial growth. Additionally, the polymer shelves are safe to remove and clean in a dishwasher. To further protect the unit from damage, its shelves are perforated with draining holes to stop pooling liquids.
