The Vulcan VCCG24-AR VCCG Series heavy-duty gas griddle uses natural gas to heat its two atmospheric burners for independent cooking results, doubling the amount of food cooked at one time. Its 1-inch-thick chrome griddle plate heats in 12-inch-wide sections, and it's controlled by an electronic ignition and solid-state thermostats, reaching temperatures as high as 550 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the chrome plate is thicker than stainless steel plates on other models, it's less likely to warp over time from constant reheating, so it works well for sporadic and high-volume use. This unit comes with a palmetto brush, a scraper, and a blade for cleaning.

Constructed of stainless steel, the Vulcan VCCG24-AR gas griddle is a long-lasting piece of equipment since it's durable, hides common scuffs and scrapes, and adjusts height as needed. It fits on a countertop for added versatility. Splash guards on its sides and back keep hot grease contained during use, and leftover oil drains into the 6-quart grease drawer for removal. To ensure safe use of burners, a built-in pilot safety system keeps the unit in check. Internal gas pressure regulators and a 3/4-inch rear gas connection are also built into the griddle for added security.
