Built to endure frequent temperature changes without warping or cracking, the Vulcan VCCG48-AR gas griddle's surface is 1 inch thick and made of polished chrome. To facilitate cleaning, this griddle comes with a blade, scraper, and palmetto brush, and it has a front-mounted grease trough where users can direct fat and crumbs to keep the surface clear. The griddle's grease drawer can hold as much as 6 quarts of oily runoff. Standing on 4-inch legs, this unit maintains space between the hot cooking area and adjacent countertops, and its stainless steel wraparound splatter guard reduces mess during use.

Featuring four U-shaped aluminized steel atmospheric burners, the Vulcan VCCG48-AR gas griddle heats evenly across its cooking surface without any cold spots. Each of the burners is independently controlled, so users can set one side of the grill to a higher temperature to grill burgers and chicken breasts while setting the other side to a lower temperature to toast sandwiches and cook eggs. For increased durability, the unit rests on a stainless and aluminized steel chassis that's welded to resist warping and sagging. The thermostat controls are protected with chrome wire knob guards and operated with electronic spark ignition.
