The Continental DL1W-SA-HD heating cabinet's heating system is top mounted. The plenum design features a circulating fan to support consistent airflow throughout the cabinet.. With its temperature control, users can adjust the unit's range from 90 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The high/low temperature alerts will notify employees if the unit deviates from preset temperatures. For simple installation when shipped, the heating system is fully self-contained.

Utilizing a two-section 21-cubic-foot space, the Continental DL1W-SA-HD heating cabinet holds three epoxy-coated shelves for storage. The unit's exterior is made of stainless steel, and the interior is made of aluminum for durability. The body's two narrow full-height doors feature Santoprene™ magnetic gaskets to help prevent hot air loss; it's also insulated with thick, non-CFC polyurethane foam. Providing a level design, the unit features four 6-inch adjustable legs.
