The Continental DL1WI-SS-E commercial heated cabinet has an open interior that is capable of holding a food cart rack less than 72 inches in height. This enables restaurant staff to prepare meals for a banquet or reception beforehand, storing them until it is time to eat. A plug heating system keeps food between 90 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit, preserving it for a later time.
The Continental DL1WI-SS-E heated holding cabinet's stainless steel construction protects it from denting and scratching as well as corrosion. A solid door helps insulate the cabinet, resulting in less heat loss than a glass-paned door would. Its lock limits access after the establishment is closed and protects food overnight. If cabinet temperatures shift too drastically, a high-low alarm alerts kitchen staff.
