Featuring an extra-wide, pass-thru design, the Continental DL2WE-SA-PT warmer is ideal for center placement in a kitchen area, as it can provide both kitchen and waitstaff access to the cabinet and can keep food items warm until needed. The interior is constructed of aluminum, while the exterior is built of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Each of the two sections has three chrome-plated steel shelves, which can be adjusted to fit variously sized items using the pilaster strips. The cabinet can be accessed from both sides through the four full-height, solid, hinged doors. The doors self-close to contain hot air and have Santoprene® magnetic snap-in door gaskets to establish an airtight seal.

The Continental DL2WE-SA-PT heated cabinet's warming system relies on a circulating fan and stainless steel strip heaters in the base of the interior to maintain temperatures between 90 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit is managed via the electronic controller and digital display, which is equipped with a high/low alarm to avoid unwanted temperature changes. To keep integral components away from floor debris, the heating system is mounted to the top of the cabinet, and to provide a clear view of stored items when the doors are opened, the interior is fitted with automatic lighting. The cabinet has 3 inches of polyurethane insulation sandwiched between its metal panels to help preserve user-set temperatures.
