To circulate heat evenly throughout the cabinet, the Continental DL2WI-SA Designer Line heated cabinet utilizes distribution ducts. Because the cabinet is insulated with 3-inch polyurethane foam, temperature fluctuations are reduced. It produces and maintains temperatures between 90 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit and operates with a self-contained, plug heating system. Users can adjust and manage temperatures with the electronic controller, which features a digital display, and if temperatures rise or drop unexpectedly, an alarm will alert the operator.

The Continental DL2WI-SA heated cabinet is a two-section, roll-in model. Operators can roll a 66¹/₄-inch-tall pan rack into either side of the interior by pushing it up one of the included stainless steel ramps. To secure the rack in place, stainless steel rack guides are built into the interior, while the reinforced stainless steel floor supports the rack's weight. To resist corrosion and extend its service life, this unit is constructed of stainless steel and aluminum.
