For holding low volumes of prepared meals at serving temperatures, the Cres Cor H-339-SS-128C half-size hot cabinet is heated by three inner-wall heaters that generate temperatures as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit. As meals' holding requirements change, users can adjust temperatures using the solid-state thermostat, and its analog thermometer displays the cabinet's temperature. Fiberglass insulation built into the interior retains set temperatures to reduce heat loss in cool environments and when the door is opened for short periods of time. To boost airflow, pan stops are built into the back of the cabinet and the inside of the door.

This Cres Cor H-339-SS-128C insulated hot cabinet can transport pans from the kitchen to serving areas and vice versa because it's furnished with four 5-inch swivel casters. Together, the casters support 1,000 pounds, and two casters include brakes for stabilization as pans are removed or loaded. Its stainless steel construction, extended base, and rigid internal frame withstand impact during transport, and the insulated, field-reversible door remains closed as the unit is moved due to its twist-lock catch. Inside the cabinet, removable wire pan supports are positioned on 2³/₄-inch centers and can hold eight 12-inch by 20-inch pans, in total.
