Because it's built with a blanket-type heating element, the Hatco GRS-18-G Glo-Ray® heated shelf is ideal for keeping prepared dishes evenly heated in pass-thru areas. Fiberglass insulation inside the shelf holds warmth at the surface, where the stainless steel top transfers heat to the products placed on it. It can sustain temperatures anywhere between 80 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit, which can conveniently be selected with the adjustable thermostat.

The countertop design of the Hatco GRS-18-G portable warming shelf enables it to be placed anywhere its 6-foot-long electrical cord can reach an outlet. Four legs with rubber feet ensure that the shelf stays where it's placed even as items are placed on and removed from it. The sleek stainless design blends in with almost any existing theme, facilitating its use in front-of-the-house operations, such as buffet lines and small, heated snack displays. Staff and customers can tell if the shelf is hot due to its illuminated power switch.
