To withstand rigorous use in buffet lines and pass-thru stations, the Hatco GRS-42-G Glo-Ray® heated shelf features a stainless steel surface and extruded aluminum base; both metals are durable, corrosion resistant, and can be wiped clean. This 42-inch-wide by 15³/₄-inch-deep by 5³/₈-inch-high unit is fitted with 4-inch nonslip rubber feet for stabilization on countertops as packaged meals, food pans, and to-go orders are loaded or removed.

For simple operation, the Hatco GRS-42-G freestanding warming shelf is equipped with a power switch that glows when the unit is on. Users can adjust the thermostatic control between 80 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit as holding requirements change. Its blanket-type foil element disperses warmth evenly, while fiberglass insulation retains heat near its surface to minimize temperature loss. This warmer is compatible with short-term holding.
