To ensure foods are warm when served, both shelves in the Hatco GRSDS/H-30DHW Glo-Ray® horizontal merchandising warmer have thermostatically controlled bases that can be adjusted from 185 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Pre-focused, top-mounted heating elements disperse heat to the shelves' outer edges, minimizing heat loss. The top shelf's heater is a high-wattage heating system€”ideal for fried products, such as french fries and onion rings. The bottom shelf measures 28⁵⁹/₁₀₀ inches wide by 21 inches deep and has a forward-slanting structure that slides foods toward the front as items are removed. The 28³/₄-inch-wide by 16¹/₂-inch-deep horizontal top shelf stabilizes spill-prone foods, such as popcorn.

The Hatco GRSDS/H-30DHW merchandiser warmer's pass-thru design can connect a kitchen and serving area. Because it lacks doors, employees can quickly insert fresh nachos, sandwiches, and more into the back of this 30-inch-wide by 24³/₁₆-inch-deep by 33¹/₂-inch-high unit, while customers can make their selection from the front. For full visibility, the tempered glass sides are clear, and it's lighted with shatterproof incandescent bulbs. Its stainless steel and aluminum construction resists corrosion to preserve its original look throughout use, and it's simple to wipe clean. To elevate presentation on countertops in supermarkets, delis, and cafes, it's furnished with 4-inch legs.
