The Metro C539-CDC-U-BU heating holding and proofing cabinet is made from aluminum for durability. Insulation Armour? patented technology contains heat inside the cabinet while keeping the exterior cool to prevent injury. Its durable polymer construction resists dents and stains, and on this model, the color is blue. Molded-in hand holds on the Insulation Armour? create vertical handles that make moving the cabinet easier. Heat up and heat recovery are fast with the thermostatically controlled forced convection system.

The cabinet's Dutch-style doors are built with clear polycarbonate panels that make seeing into the cabinet to check on food easier without releasing heat. Santoprene gaskets are mounted on the doors to keep heat inside the cabinet. Double-hinged, field-reversible hinges are convenient for the operator and allow the doors to open to a full 180 degrees. This cabinet is fitted with universal slides that are made from anodized nickel chrome wire that is ¹/₄ of an inch in diameter. These slides are adjustable on 1¹/₂ inch increments and come with 18 slide pairs but can accommodate up 35 additional, sold-separately pairs. 18 standard size pans will fit in the cabinet. The Metro C539-CDC-U-BU heating holding and proofing cabinet is full sized and measures 71 inches tall.
