Metro C539-HLDC-U-GY Full Height Insulated Mobile Heated Cabinet W/ (18) Pan Capacity, 120v
This full-height Metro C539-HLDC-U-GY C5? 3 Series heated holding cabinet measures 255/8 inches wide by 311/2 inches deep by 71 inches tall and is positioned on four 5-inch casters—two of which include brakes—to ease transport between kitchen and serving area. For protection against dents, impacts, and stains, this unit is made of durable polymer, and it features hand holds molded into each corner of the unit to enhance steering. Its single holding compartment is lined with electroplated wire universal slides that can be adjusted in 11/2-inch increments. To accommodate high-volume holding, these slides accommodate (18) 18-inch by 26-inch sheet pans and (34) 12-inch by 20-inch by 21/2-inch steam pans. Operators can directly access these pans by opening one of the clear Dutch polycarbonate doors—capable of opening to 180 degrees.
To ensure prepared foods are held at safe temperatures over long periods, the Metro C539-HLDC-U-GY mobile cabinet has an operating temperature range of 80 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Its forced convection system quickly heats and recovers for streamlined operation. Staff can adjust the thermostat on the bottom-mounted control module, which includes a digital thermometer, recessed control dials, an on/off switch, and power-indicator lights—all of which are removable for maintenance and cleaning. To preserve generated heat and maintain a cool-to-the-touch exterior, this cabinet is insulated with Insulation Armour? high-density polyethylene.
