To improve food quality, the Metro C565-SFC-L mobile heated cabinet is humidified with an integral water pan system. The door is made of double-pane glass to provide a view of food in the interior, and the cabinet is insulated with high-density fiberglass to prevent temperature reductions. The lip-load slides are made of wire to enable air to flow through the gaps and around product for uniform heating. They can be adjusted in 1¹/₂-inch increments and accommodate (17) 18-inch by 26-inch food pans.

The Metro C565-SFC-L insulated heated cabinet's top-mounted control panel includes a temperature dial that can be adjusted from 70 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Its ducted heating system recovers lost temperatures quicky after loading and unloading, and to monitor the current levels, a readout is provided by an analog thermometer even when the cabinet is off. It's built with 5-inch casters that enable mobility through a banquet hall, hotel, or hospital.
