It's made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and has a double-pane tempered glass door that provides users a clear view of product; this leads to quick inventory checks without opening the door, maintaining temperatures prior to serving. Overall, it measures 29¹/₈ inches wide by 32⁵/₈ inches deep by 62³/₄ inches high and is furnished with 5-inch casters that facilitate smooth movement and stability.

To ensure product is warmed properly, the Metro C567-SFC-U holding cabinet uses thermostatically controlled, ducted heat, which warms the cabinet swiftly and recovers temperatures promptly. Fiberglass insulation built into the perimeter ensures temperature retention with little energy use. To keep product from drying out, the integral water pan system introduces passive humidity to retain food quality. The thermostat and analog temperature control are top mounted to reduce the risk of accidental temperature adjustments.
